About APWHC

A Preferred Women’s Health Center is committed to providing safe, affordable and accessible abortion care. We have four convenient locations in Atlanta, GA, Augusta, GA, Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC. Since opening in 1998, over 100,000 patients have received abortion care at an APWHC clinic. While laws regarding abortion care have changed, APWHC continues to be a dependable source of information and abortion care for our community. The physicians, nurses and medical professionals that make up our clinical care team have over 100 years of experience between them. This level of experience is second only to our commitment to making abortion as accessible as possible despite the various burdens patients face. At APWHC, we truly care about our patients. Going the extra mile to help patients in need isn’t a special occurrence – it’s the foundation of our organization.

A Preferred Women’s Health Center is proud to be a member of the National Abortion Federation. NAF member clinics are required to adhere to the highest standards of abortion care, often requiring more than local and state regulations. Our clinical staff is required to complete regular continuing medical education to ensure that our policies are reflective of the most recent research findings regarding abortion care.
